My Story

After a fifteen-year stint as a graphic designer in both New York City and Dayton, Ohio, I changed careers and became a teacher. I used my design background in the classroom, both as an intervention specialist and while teaching art. After a long and successful career, I retired and moved to Northeast Ohio. I now work full-time in my studio in a variety of media, from conceptual collage and assemblage to realistic scratchboard "portraits" of birds and other animals.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in painting, a Master's Degree (MEd) in education, as well as National Board Certification in art K - 8. I am a member of the Ohio Collage Society and the International Society of Scratchboard Artists. My artwork has been exhibited in many galleries in the Cleveland and Dayton areas.
